Kamuffins members can initiate deletion inside the app. This draft explains the implemented request flow and the remaining support route that must be activated before launch.

Delete in the app

  1. Open your profile and choose Safety & privacy.
  2. Select Delete my account.
  3. Review the consequences and confirm the deletion request.

What happens next

Your profile is removed from discovery, active matches are ended and ordinary access to conversation content is revoked immediately. Deletion from active systems is scheduled to complete within 30 days.

Reported evidence is separated from ordinary conversation access and may be retained for 12 months after the case closes. It is kept longer only when an active appeal or legal or safety obligation requires a documented extension. Limited security, audit or legal records may also be retained where justified. Australian counsel must approve these periods before launch.

Cannot access the app?

The verified support-assisted deletion address is being activated with the standalone Kamuffins domain and must be published before submission.

Deleting the app is not enough

Removing Kamuffins from your phone does not delete your account. Use the in-app deletion control or the verified support route above.
